Analysis of Technical and Operational Aspects of the Buffet Seblak Angkringan Business in Gedangan Regency

The Seblak Prasmanan angkringan business in Gedangan Regency has become a popular culinary destination, offering a variety of seblak menus with a buffet concept. This study aims to analyze the technical and operational aspects of this business to identify the factors that influence its success and operational efficiency. A qualitative and quantitative approach was used in this research, with data collection methods including direct observation, interviews with owners and employees, and analysis of operational documents.The results of the study show that technical aspects such as location selection, angkringan layout, and cooking equipment significantly affect operational smoothness. Additionally, operational management, including work schedule arrangements, raw material management, and customer service, plays an important role in maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. The main challenges faced are fluctuations in raw material availability and food waste management. This study concludes that the implementation of efficient operational strategies and innovation in service can enhance the competitiveness of the Seblak Prasmanan angkringan business in Gedangan Regency.

Analysis of Business Feasibility Study in the Development of Tofu and Tempe Business UMKM in Pondok Jeruk Village Reviewed from the Financial Aspect

This research aims to determine the business feasibility of the Tofu and Tempe Business in Pondok Jeruk Village, to determine the feasibility from the financial aspect. This research uses quantitative research methods. The analytical tool used for this financial aspect uses Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Profitability Index (PI) analysis, to determine whether a business is feasible or not. The results of the analysis from the financial aspect show that this Tofu and Tempe Business is said to be feasible with a project life of 10 years at a discount rate of 10%. Analysis of the eligibility criteria resulted in a Payback Period (PP) of 8 months 7 weeks, a Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 137,689,184, a Profitability Index (PI) value of 1.14% and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 32%.

Understanding the Dynamics of Political Communication Participation of Chinese Ethnic Groups in Jakarta: A Phenomenological Study

This study aims to understand the dynamics of political communication participation among the Chinese ethnic community in Jakarta through a qualitative phenomenological approach. Utilizing semistructured in-depth interviews, this research explores the subjective experiences of Chinese individuals in the context of political participation. Participants were selected using purposive sampling techniques, comprising individuals aged 18 and above who have resided in Jakarta for at least 5 years and are actively involved in political activities. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify key themes emerging from the participants' experiences. The findings reveal that political communication participation among the Chinese ethnic community is influenced by social, cultural, and historical factors and faces various challenges related to stereotypes and discrimination. This study provides significant contributions to the literature on political participation of ethnic minorities in Indonesia and offers practical insights for policymakers to enhance political inclusivity.

THE EFFECT OF HEALTHY EXERCISE ON BLOOD PRESSURE IN HYPERTENSION PATIENTS IN THE GYMNASTICS GROUP IN ROWOKANGKUNG DISTRICT

This study aims to determine the effect of healthy exercise on blood pressure in hypertension sufferers in the Rowokangkung District Gymnastics Group. This research used a non-probability sampling method (saturated sample) and was conducted in January 2024. These findings show that healthy exercise can effectively reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The study also revealed that women are more likely to suffer from high blood pressure than men, especially postmenopausal. Factors such as age, education, and occupation (eg civil servant) also influence the risk of hypertension. The research highlights the benefits of exercise in managing hypertension, including improving physical and mental health, reducing stress, and slowing the aging process. This research provides valuable insight for the community and becomes a reference for further research in the field of nursing and hypertension management. The population in this study consisted of 33 hypertensive patients consisting of 13 men and 20 women who were members of the Gymnastics Group in Rowokangkung District. The sample includes the entire population of 33 people, because this research uses a non-probability sampling method (saturated sample). In this study, bivariate analysis was used with paired tests (t tests) and normality using skewness and kurtosis and hypothesis testing.

Optimizing Islamic Boarding School-Based Entrepreneurship Models in the Digital Economy Era: Challenges and Opportunities at the Jaddung Pragaan Sumenep Islamic Boarding School

Islamic boarding schools, or pondok pesantren are traditional Islamic educational institutions that play a significant role in shaping the character and intellectual capacity of their students, or santri. In the modern era, Islamic boarding schools face both challenges and opportunities in fostering entrepreneurship, especially amidst digital disruption that is transforming business systems and models. This study examines how Islamic boarding schools, particularly in Sumenep Regency, can develop santri entrepreneurial independence by utilizing technology and innovative entrepreneurial approaches. Through a curriculum that integrates religious and general education, as well as practical skills training, pesantren strive to equip santri to face challenges in society. Empowering santri in the field of entrepreneurship is crucial in creating a generation that is not only strong in religious understanding but also equipped with relevant skills. This study finds that the success of entrepreneurial independence in Islamic boarding schools largely depends on smart strategies that involve leveraging available resources and collaborating with alumni. The results show that Islamic boarding schools can serve as agents of social change, advancing both education and the economy within the community.

Antioxidant Activity of Red Onion Skin Extract (allium cepa L.) Obtained from Pamekasan District

Red onion skin (Allium cepa L.) is a type of household waste that is rarely used by the public. Based on previous research, shallot skin contains flavonoid compounds which have the potential to act as antioxidants. This study aims to determine the concentration of shallot skin extract that is able to inhibit 50% of DPPH absorbance. This research uses an experimental type of research. The onion skin was extracted, photochemical screening was carried out, and the anti-free radical IC₅₀ was determined. The yield of onion skin extract obtained was 5.21%. Based on this research, it is known that red onion skin extract contains polyphenols, flavonoids, saponins. The results of the antioxidant activity test for onion skin extract can be seen from the IC₅₀ value, which is 29.9 ppm, while the IC₅₀ for asam askorbat is 14.9 ppm. The IC₅₀ value of the onion skin extract obtained is included in the group of very strong antioxidants.

This study aims to determine the deixis in the Laskar Pelangi script by Hanum Kanthi Pramesthi. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The object of this study is the Laskar Pelangi drama script by Hanum Kanthi Pramesthi. The aspects observed are the forms of deixis contained in the drama script and its analysis. The data source for this study is the drama script itself. Data collection in this study was carried out using several techniques including observation techniques, reading techniques and note-taking/writing techniques. The research time was carried out flexibly. The results of this study contained 164 deixis. The data is divided into 129 person deixis, 15 place deixis, and 20 time deixis.

Understanding Implied Meanings In Everyday Language With Pragmatic Theory

Pragmatics is a branch of linguistics that studies meaning in the context of language use, especially the context of implied meaning which is not always conveyed directly in everyday language. The purpose of this article is to explain the basic concepts of pragmatic theory and its application in everyday communication. Through this theory, we can understand how implicit meaning plays a role in shaping perceptions, guiding reactions, and influencing relationships between individuals. This article explains how pragmatics can help us understand the deeper meaning of spoken words by considering connotations, presuppositions, and social context. A better understanding of pragmatics allows individuals to communicate more effectively and understand hidden messages in conversations. We hope this article provides readers with new insights into the importance of pragmatics in everyday social interactions and how this theory can help overcome misunderstandings that are often caused by different interpretations.

The Level of Knowledge of the Tapaan Banyuates Sampang Community about Generic and Patent Medicine

Patent medicines are finished medicines with a trade name registered in the name of the manufacturer and sold in the original packaging from the factory that produces them. while generic drugs are drugs or the official International Non-proprietary Names (INN) specified in the Indonesian pharmacopoeia or other standard books or the efficacious substances in their contents. There are people who think that the quality of patented medicines with more expensive prices has good quality compared to generic medicines. So this research aims to determine public knowledge about patent medicines and generic medicines in Tapaan Banyuates Village, Sampang Regency. The type of research used is non-experimental research using a survey method with a quantitative analysis design and data collection methods in the form of questionnaires Each question item has a p-value <0.05. This means that the statements in the questionnaire can be used as a measuring tool for what will be measured, and a Cronbach alpha value of 0.8 means the questionnaire is reliable. Non-probability sampling data collection techniques, namely sampling based on certain considerations or criteria. The respondents used in this research were the Tapaan Banyuates Sampang village community aged > 18 years, both male and female, totaling 96 respondents. Data is presented in the form of tables, bar charts, and accompanied by discussion. Most of the respondents' level of knowledge about generic medicines was in the poor category with a percentage of 48%, while most of the respondents' level of knowledge about patented medicines was in the good category, namely with a percentage of 44%.
